Event description

IFSEL's Winter Reboot
For Teachers, Administrators, Counselors in Grades K - 6

As the days grow shorter, teachers and students welcome opportunities to slow down, look within, and reflect on growth. Yet this time of year is often busier than ever. It’s natural to start counting the days until winter break. What if you had the opportunity step out of the classroom, practice self care and connect with your own inspiration and resources so you end the year feeling refreshed and renewed?

IFSEL’s Winter Reboot is designed to foster a sense of re-connection to self, others and the natural world.

Workshop Goals

  • Refresh your teaching toolbox with creative strategies and lessons to activate intra and inter personal growth and learning in your classroom.

  • Connect with other teachers who care about supporting students to develop skills for self-regulation and resiliency that they can then bring into compassionate interactions with others.

  • Explore how to align with your own values and strengths and find resources in nature, while gaining confidence and inspiration to respond wisely to the joys and challenges these days bring our way.
