IFS and Psychedelics

IFS is being embraced by the psychedelic community as a great complement for psychedelic assisted psychotherapy. This workshop will review the major psychedelics being researched, the foundational elements of psychedelic assisted psychotherapy, as well as how clinicians are practically integrating IFS into their psychedelic work with clients. We will focus in particular on how IFS ‘blends’ well with MDMA and ketamine assisted psychotherapy.

This presentation assumes basic knowledge of the IFS model.

In-person only, must register ahead. This event will not be recorded.

Doors open at 12:30 for networking and socializing. Snacks will be provided.

3 PA-NASW CEUs. No IFS-I CE's will be offered for this event.

Gail Serruya, MD

Dr. Gail Serruya is a level II IFS trained psychiatrist who founded Voyage Healing PC, a ketamine and psychedelic clinic located in Philadelphia. She has done multiple trainings in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), including an IFS/ketamine training led by Dick Schwartz and Phil Wolfson. Dr. Serruya has also completed the CPTR (Certificate in Psychedelic Training and Research) program through the California School of Integrated Studies in 2022/2023. In addition to IFS, Dr. Serruya has a background in hypnosis, psychodynamic therapy, and CBT.
