About this event

IFFP’s High Holy Days 2021 (5782) IN-PERSON

IFFP’s 2021 High Holidays Services will be led by Rabbi Debbie Reichmann, Reverend Samantha Gonzalez-Block, and Cantor Steve Marcus.

The services will be BOTH in-person AND streaming virtually. You are electing to attend the service in-person. Click here if you would like to register for our virtual service.

For the safety of the service leaders, our staff, and the entire community, we are putting in place protocols for attendance. These protocols were developed after consulting the plans of synagogues in the area and following guidance from the CDC and local public school systems.

  • All in-person services will be limited to no more than 60% of full capacity.
  • We strongly request, for the safety of everyone at the services, that you plan to attend in-person services only if you have been fully vaccinated.
  • The first physical row of seats will remain empty for safe distancing between service leaders and congregants.
  • Please allow for at least two empty seats between families.
  • Masks are not required outdoors.
  • Masks are required indoors for all attendees. Only service leaders will be unmasked when they are speaking during the service.
  • We ask that you stay home if: In the 21 days prior to services, you experience any COVID-19 or cold-like symptoms or had a COVID-19 exposure. You have tested positive for COVID-19 within 30 days of the service.

Organizer Interfaith Families Project of Greater Washington

Organizer of IFFP High Holy Days 2021 (5782) IN-PERSON

The Interfaith Families Project of Greater Washington (IFFP) is an independent community of interfaith families and others. We are committed to sharing, learning about, and celebrating our Jewish and Christian traditions.

Now in our second decade, we have grown to over 100 families from Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C. It’s a place where both Jewish and Christian partners can feel like equal members of the community; where both can celebrate and learn about both faiths and where we “teach not preach.”  For more information, please contact:  info@iffp.net.
