IFEST Brings World Cultures to UST
From the high energy and driving beats of the Brazilian Samba to the intoxicating aroma of lumpia from the Philippines, the world is coming to the University of St. Thomas on April 24 at 6:30 p.m. for the 11th annual International Festival. The event is free and open to the public.
IFEST will include local Houston food trucks including Texas Blizzard Ice Truck, the Waffle Bus, Tacos Tierra Caliente, Apna, Bazaar, To the Jeepney, Melange Creperie, Marini’s Empanada House, and the recently opened Bambu, Desserts & Drinks.
Performances include Polish dancers from Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Salsa dancers from Strictly Street Salsa, Indian folk dancers from Bella Donna Dance Company and Samba dancers from LD Dance Company.
In addition to food trucks and live performances, IFEST will also provide free beverages. Students 21 and older should bring ID.
