About this event

Join CALS on Saturday, Sept. 17 for the 23rd annual TailGATOR. This tradition will begin three hours prior to kickoff of the UF vs. South Florida game in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. Meal tickets will include dinner from Hill's BBQ.

Experience CALS at one of our many interactive exhibits. Catch up with friends and the faculty/staff who make CALS so special. Enjoy a great BBQ meal.

The following departments and organizations are registered for TailGATOR (updated 6/8):

  • Florida 4-H Youth Development Program

In addition, Florida Farm Bureau and Farm Credit of Florida will be on hand. We appreciate their support and Chemical Dynamics' support of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences.

Who can attend this event?

Our event is open to the general public, alumni, friends and supporters . (Meal tickets are available for purchase.)

Where can I use my meal ticket?

Meal tickets are only valid for the UF/IFAS CALS TailGATOR BBQ. Meal tickets cannot be redeemed in the stadium.

Can I purchase a meal ticket at the door?

A limited number of TailGATOR tickets will be available at the door for $20 each.

Can I watch the game in the O'Connell Center?

No. At kickoff time, all guests will be asked to leave the TailGATOR area of the O'Connell Center.
