Description

If These Walls Could Talk

Film Premiere about the 90th Anniversary of the Rodeph Shalom Sanctuary
Ilana Trachtman, documentary filmmaker (Praying with Lior, Mariachi High, Black in Latin America, etc.) will present this short film illustrating Rodeph Shalom's (RS) grand historical perspective and intimate soul. The film will capture RS's life at its most resplendent moments and most personal. Using original footage and interviews with families, archival images, historical memorabilia, found footage, and text on screen, viewers will understand RS’s contribution to the history of Jewish Philadelphia and progressive American Judaism, and why it will continue to be at the forefront for the next century.

Reception will follow the film with music by The Jazz Jemzz

Sponsored by the Lulu and Joseph Rosenbluth Fund and the Alfred and Helen O. Sellers Fund
