“Dark Skies” with Bryan Boulanger – Chair and Associate Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Wanda Barchard – Senior Electrical Designer at Metro CD Engineering

Join us for an informative meeting on “Dark Skies”. We will learn: What is the International Dark Sky Association and What affect do they have on light design. What is the Model Lighting Ordinance (MLO) that was developed by the IDA and IES. Learn about the B-U-G ratings.

Learn about Prof. Boulanger’s Capstone project at Yellowstone National Park to reduce light pollution and preserve the night sky (All with some cool technology and the involvement of senior year students)!

** Online Registration for this Meeting will cut off 10/17/17 (Tuesday) at 6PM

(Early Registration ends 9/13/17 at 6PM)

** Tickets will be $30 at the door for anyone not yet registered (regardless of membership)
