Event description
Non-profit 21 and Change invites you to their first Individual Educational Plan (IEP) and Special Education Conference for parents

About this Event

50 Tickets Added - Reserve your space today!

We are proud to host our first conference free of charge to parents in our communities. Spaces are limited to 150 participants so please reserve your space today.

What will the conference be about?

Do you know the difference between an IEP and a 504 plan? Do you know what happens during an IEP meeting? How do you get your child tested and evaluated if you suspect he/she has a learning disability? What are my child’s rights? What are my rights?

These questions and many more will be answered by our Guest Speaker Pam Lindemann, The IEP Advocate.

What will be provided?

Light breakfast and beverages will be provided! Every parent will receive a free book, Wrightslaw: All About IEPs and info/materials from vendors.

Our Vision:

We believe in the value of all human lives and that all should have the opportunity to discover their full potential.

We believe that everyone is born with the inherent right to freedom, to self-determination, to dignity, and respect.

We believe in a day when our children will be seen as ‘differently-abled’ and not disabled.

We believe there will be a day when we end the Down syndrome ‘syndrome’ and secure the full measure of civil rights for the ‘differently-abled’.

We will not rest until what we believe is achieved.
