Event Details

These free workshops are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The IEP From Beginnging to End workshop will discuss information regarding Special Education Services, the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and more! This will be small and intimate group setting that will enable our education advocates to answer any and all of your specefic questions. You will also learn every aspect of the IEP process, including, but not limited to, your rights and responsibilities, what is an IEP, transition services, behavioral plans and least restricted environment.

Families Helping Families of Southeast Louisiana (FHF of SELA) is a non profit center for individuals with disabilities and their families in Orleans, Plaquemines and St. Bernard Parishes. 

FHF of SELA envisions a region where peopel with disabilities live and are fully included in school, work and recreational activities. Our mission is to educate and empower individuals with disabilities, their families, professionals and the communities by providing resources, training and family-to-family support.
