This is our annual sharing of the new and unusual things seen at the Consumer Electronics Show in early January. This event has proven to be a very popular one to attend for people that are in the industry or just have a curiosity. See photos and hear explanations about some of the highlights and major themes, as well as some of the weird and unusual items that always seem to appear at CES. Additionally, there are a number of related events that are held just before and after CES that will be talked about, including Showstoppers, Digital Experience, Storage Visions, and ICCE (International Conference on Consumer Electronics)
Gary Sasaki is President of DIGDIA, a market analysis and consulting firm that has followed this industry and other related industries for years, and is a regular presenter at the CES Download. Having attended CES for the past 16 years, Gary has a deep insight into trends and themes of the industry.
Tom Coughlin is Presedent of Coughlin Associates, and organizer of Storage Visions, which takes place just before CES each year. Tom's focus is on how storage systems and technology fit into the consumer electronics industry.
