Google TV brings two great open apps platforms, Chrome and Android, to the big screen.  In this event, Shawn will give an overview of Google TV, showcase some web and native Android apps, demonstrate how to build Android apps using a game sample, cover the distribution channels to get apps onto users' TVs, and give away some Google TV's to  qualified developers at the end.

 Speaker

Shawn is a Developer Advocate at Google. His current focus is to help developers build great apps on Google TV, an Android Smart TV platform. Previously he worked on Maps/Earth and OpenSocial APIs.  Prior to Google, he worked at Yahoo, Ariba, eBay, plus a few start-ups in Silicon Valley.  While he is not coding or helping developers, he enjoys music, physics, and random philosophical musing.
