Kevin Slack is associate professor of politics for the Van Andel Graduate School of Statesmanship at Hillsdale College. He specializes in American colonial thought and post-1960s progressivism. He has taught previously at Merced College, Ashland University, and the University of Dallas.

Slack is the author of Benjamin Franklin, Natural Right, and the Art of Virtue. He has written numerous academic articles for American Political Thought, the Pennsylvania Magazine of History and Biography, and the New England Quarterly; he has also written for the American Thinker, the Heritage Foundation, and Anamnesis.

Slack received a B.A. in History at Indiana University, an M.A. in Political Science at the University of California-Davis, an M.A. in Political Philosophy at the University of Dallas, and a Ph.D. in Politics at the University of Dallas.
