Event description

Description

Gathering Essential Supports is often a large task to accomplish and difficult to navigate the systems of care when working with persons who are experiencing addiction. Each person's journey on their road to recovery is often very different, because of the variables that change with each case. Insurance and affordability play a huge role in connecting persons to essential supports, but even that is not all the moving parts that have to be considered in making recovery connections. Each person is at a different stage in their recovery and that, too, plays a huge role in what resources are appropriate for the person seeking treatment and recovery options. B.R.I.D.G.E.S. is hosting the next Sussex County Homeless Coalition meeting and has invited Mobile Crisis to share their knowledge with the Coalition's January meeting. The Sussex County Homeless Coalition partners often are triaging persons who are in active addiction or in recovery. This event is for anyone in the community who would like to learn more about Essential Supports in Delaware. January's training meeting is open to the community and other partners who would like to know more and fill their toolbox to be most equipped to be part of the solution.
