Ever since opening for the Kyle Hollingsworth Band eleven years ago, Ideateam has established a reputation at the Crazy Horse for memorable throwdowns. This impressive cast of Sacramento-based musicians work together to refine their craft through their distinct original compositions, along with an array of both vintage and modern cover arrangements.

The band’s live sets are known for flowing in and around a winding fusion of grooves while leaning on a foundation of experimental funk, afrobeat, soul, rock and R&B sounds. They come with the horns a-blazing and establish a firm grip on the audience from the get-go. The vibe is sexy as hell, like luxurious scarlet velvet in the form of pulsing sound waves. The charismatic vocal presence of Julian Cunningham catapults this unit into rarified air.
