About this event

Ideagen Global "Presented Globally by Microsoft" and in collaboration with ACS Athens and and supported by the American Hellenic Institute is pleased to present the Ideagen EU Global Summit in Athens, Greece with this global forum for audiences across the planet.

Ideagen Global is a global convening platform which includes Ideagen TV, Ideagen Radio, and Ideagen's Award Winning Catalyze Magazine in addition to global summits fostering cross-sector collaboration for global leaders and luminaries from the world’s leading brands, companies, NGOs, and public sector entities. By strengthening connections and fostering communication, we highlight the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to accelerate innovation and solutions for many of the world’s most vexing issues. Panel 1: Maritime Strategy and Blue Economy in Greece(2:30pm)

Theme: In every crisis there is also opportunity. Greece engraved its place in history by facing successfully and repeatedly what initially appeared as impossible odds. The sea occupies a very central place in Greek history and civilization. Today, Greece still possesses the biggest merchant fleet in the world (in DWT). ALLILONnet is the global network of Greeks and friends of Greece for solidarity in the professional field, mainly in favor of our youth, for studies, professional insertion, career and entrepreneurship. The aim of the panel is to initiate a process of multidisciplinary discussion, that includes the relevance of the SDGs, on the considerable opportunities that do exist on this globally important sector for professionals, brain gain cases, start-ups, or investment projects.

Panel 2: Agility 21: Skills and Mindsets for the 21st Century (3:25pm)

Theme: Having entered an age of continuous change and constant disruption as indicated by the development of Artificial Intelligence, Web 3.0., new economies, and more, the new era requires skills and mindsets that allow individuals to adapt to, navigate, and often, initiate change. Agility 21 aims to address the issues from the perspectives of Education, Business, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Technology and the Media. Developing and using such skills requires unprecedented agility; being abreast of continuously changing knowledge for the evolving world of the 21st Century and it presupposes a mindset of both educators and students to be lifelong learners.

Panel 3: 2030: The Global Goals, Achieving the Goals by 2030 : Insights, Strategies and Implementation (4:10pm)

Theme: As we approach 2030, Ideagen is committed to connecting the dots to achieve the Global Goals (SDGs). In addition to the SDG's, this panel will provide insights from a cross-sector lens on insights and strategies as we work toward achieving the Global Goals by 2030. For example, as outlined by our colleagues at KPMG, "For more than two decades, companies have come under increasing pressure to incorporate ESG goals in their business. An increasing body of evidence indicates that companies can both do good and do well financially, which is contributing to a record number of companies setting out on their own “ESG journeys”. - KPMG US
