Ride Leader Training Description
Fulfills NICA Coach Licensing Program CEU's and On-The-Bike Skills for Level 2 & 3 Coaches
Sunday 8am - 5pm.
The 1 Day Ride Leader Training event is designed for new and experienced coaches looking for effective skills and techniques for running team practices. This event provides the opportunity for participants to learn the “nuts and bolts” of running safe and fun team practices and preparations for race season. Expect interactive lectures during the morning seminar and on the bike practical application during the “on-the-bike-skills” class after lunch. Class includes continental breakfast, lunch, handouts and free SWAG. NICA coaching manuals will be made available at an additional cost. Please come prepared to ride after lunch.
This one day event will fulfill continuing education units and On-The-Bike Skills requirements for NICA Coach Licensing Level 2 & 3. Additional prerequisites for NICA Coach Licensing Level 2 & 3 can be found on NICA’s Coach Licensing Program page. Please complete the online based “Risk Management” and “NICA Student-Athlete Coaching Philosophy” webinars and tests prior to attending this class. They’re free and can be completed in the comfort of your own home. You do not need to complete the other requirements before attending the Ride Leader Training.
Camping & Lodging note: Camping and Lodging is not included.

Other stuff: Come prepared for a mix of conference room style classes in the morining and 4 hours of on the bike skills clinic instruction in the afternoon.
