2019 Idaho EMS Educator Conference

About this Event

The annual Idaho EMS Instructor Conference will be held in Post Falls, ID this year at the Joe Doellefeld Training Center (Kootenai County Fire & Rescue). This conference can be used toward your instructor renewal.

Please register for each day and training you plan on attending.

The Idaho EMS Bureau is able to help fund lodging for instructors affiliated with volunteer agencies. If you are interested in having your lodging paid for please reach out to Chris at Chris.Acosta@dhw.idaho.gov. This is first-come, first-serve so don't delay!

October 4th:

0900 - 1400: Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Training - Traffic Incident Management is a systematic approach to maintaining or restoring the safe and efficient movement of motor vehicles on Idaho highways. Adopting the Idaho TIM system enables incident response agencies to manage unexpected and unplanned incidents such as MVAs, HazMat spills, weather-related incidents, roadway debris, and vehicleb reakdowns. This class offers 5 hours of didactic and table-top interaction to supplement the 10 hours of continuing education available through ResponderSafety.org.

3PM: The National Registry will be coming to host an Item Writing Workshop.

October 5th:

All day: Instructor Methodologies. Keynote speaker to be announced soon!
