Description

Join the Kansas-Missouri Branch of the IDA as we partner with Microsoft to present the learning tools Microsoft has avaiilable to support students with dyslexia. This event will be an overview of all of the tools present in Microsoft products that you likely already have on your computer. Space is limited to 20 people and is open to teachers, parents and students.

What can I bring into the event?

Computers will be available to all participants in the Microsoft Community Theatre at the Microsoft Store. Participants are welcome to bring their own device if they wish to take notes on a personal tablet or laptop. Microsoft assistive technology tools for dyslexia will be featured in the trainings.

Who should come to the class?

Teachers, parents, and students with dyslexia are welcome to attend all of the courses. The courses will be held in the Microsoft Community Theatre, so space and seating are limited to no more than 20 attendees. RSVPs are required.

What will the class cover?

The class will be hands-on and will cover assistive technology tools available in various Microsoft applications to help the student with dyslexia.
