ICT FUN RUN – Stronger@10!


Event Advisory

1. The Fun Run is open to all ICT-accredited company employees, their families, and friends. Employees can bring their babies to the event but not on the race route.

2. Pre-event registration is a requirement to confirm attendance. Deadline for the payment of Php200 (with singlet) or Php50 (without singlet) is July 15, 2014. A participant can also register on the event day and pay Php50 (without singlet).

3. Employees must bring their Company ID (if employed). Dependents should also bring one (1) valid ID.

4. Registration will start at 4:00 p.m. Gun start will be at 5:30 p.m.

5. Each BPO will have a station along the race route where they will provide items or fun games for all runners.

6. Runners are encouraged to bring extra clothes and towels.

7. Water stations are available at the registration area. Paper cups will be available for participants, but they are also encouraged to bring their own tumblers. Water stations will also be available along the race route.

8. The Fun Run is an ICT-sponsored event. Participants should be in their best behavior at all times.

9. The first aid station is located at the registration area. An ambulance/shuttle is also available.

 

Event Registration Process

  1. Participant must present his/her claim stub at the Registration booth at the venue.
  2.  Registration POC verifies registration. Upon verification, the race kit will be issued to the participant.
  3.  For lost stubs, participant will be asked to present their ID so that registration can be verified from the masterlist.
  4.  Event registration starts at 4:00 p.m. Kits must be claimed before gun start at 5:30 p.m.
  5.  To encourage actual participation, timely arrival, and prompt registration due to the limited availability of the event venue, participants are highly encouraged to claim their race kits before gun start.

 Participants who arrive late can still claim their race kits and participate in the race. However, field marshals will be sweeping out the runners who are still on the course after cut-off time.

 

Event Guidelines

1. Registration and assembly time is at 4:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m.

2. Gun start is at 5:30 p.m. Cut-off time for runners is at 7:30 p.m.

3. Participants who arrive after gun start will be allowed to push through in the race, but it is no assurance that they can finish the race within the given cut-off time. Field marshals will be sweeping out the runners who are still on the course after cut-off time.

4. The official event singlet and/or race bib should be worn at all times during the race.

5. Running in bare torso is not allowed.

6. For safety purposes, participants should run on the designated route only.

7. To be fair to everyone in the race, taking shortcuts or alternate courses is not allowed.

8. Participants who are walking are required to keep to the right side of the lane so as not to cause obstruction to other runners.

9. Pets are not allowed.

10. Any form of wheel-run objects (e.g. inline skates, pushchairs, shoes with built-in or attached rollers) is not allowed on the course.

11. While every reasonable precaution will be taken by the organizing committee to ensure safety, participants partake in this event at their own risk, and the organizing committee and their appointed marshals/volunteers shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage suffered otherwise.

12. The organizing committee reserves the right to:

  • Remove any participant deemed physically incapable of continuing the race to prevent him/her from causing greater harm and injury to himself/herself.
  • Delay the commencement of the race in the event of bad weather.
  • Cancel the event without refund should the bad weather persist after delay.
  • Amend the rules and regulations without prior notification of any reason thereof.
  • Use any photo and video documentation of the participants for internal marketing and communications use.
