 Who needs to take ICS - 300:

 All Mid-level Management Federal/State/Local/Tribal/Private Sector & Nongovernmental personnel to include should take ICS-300, including: Persons serving as command staff, section chiefs, strike team leaders, task force leaders, unit leaders, division/group supervisors, branch directors, and multi-agency coordination.

What it covers-

The Intermediate Incident Command System for Expanding Incidents course provides training on and resources for personnel who require advanced application of the ICS.  The course expands upon information covered in the IS-100 and IS-200 courses. Also included in this training will be a table top exercise.

This two day course is designed to meet the required objectives of NIMS. The class builds on the IS-100 and IS-200 courses and is a pre-requisite for the ICS - 400 course. 

 Requirements- ICS - 300 is designed for candidates that have also successfully completed the IS-100 and IS-200 courses. 

IS-100 and IS-200 can be taken online (free) through the Emergency Management Institute  http://training.fema.gov/IS/ 

You must be a first responder or belong to a state, county, or local organization or agency to attend this training.

Please bring note taking materials.  The ICS-300 Student Manual is available on-line at http://wyohomelandsecurity.state.wy.us/training.aspx

An important note about our training In order to qualify for most trainings you must have a local, county, or state agency affiliation or belong to a first response, receiver organization or volunteer organization.  A FEMA student ID is required for most courses.  Please feel free contact us if you have any questions about your eligibility to attend training.

If you need to cancel out of a course please contact me at renee.austin1@wyo.gov.  Our courses have limited availablity and waiting lists.  Please be considerate of others and cancel if you will not be attending.  Those who do not show up and remain registered will be asked to contact me prior to registering for additional courses.
