ICH Regional Consultation

The Food and Drug Administration is announcing a regional public consulation entitled "U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Health Canada Joint Regional Consultation on International Council for Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH)." The meeting will be held at 10903 New Hampshire Ave. Building 31 Room 1503A, Silver Spring, MD 20993. It will also be broadcast on the web allowing participants to join in person OR via the web.
The ICH's mission is to achieve greater harmonization worldwide to ensure that safe, effective, and high quality medicines are developed and registered in the most resource-efficient manner. ICH meetings occur twice per a year, before each meeting the FDA and Health Canada conduct a regional consultation to allow the public to comment on the topic areas. The topic areas relate to harmonization of various guidelines for the manufacture of pharmaceuticals.
The goal of this meeting is to provide information and receive comments on the current activities of ICH, as well as the upcoming ICH meetings in Montreal, Canada May 28 - June 1 2017. The topics to be discussed are the topics for discussion at the forthcoming ICH Assembly and Expert Working Group meeitings in Montreal.
