Iceland: A Portrait of Its Land and People
When: February 2nd at 6:30 PM
Where: Town Hall Assembly Room
Join area naturalists Peter and Barbara Rzasa as they present a slide show of Iceland's geological features, flowers, wildlife, and people that they encountered while traveling Iceland's 832-mile long Ring Road. On display will be samples of volcanic rocks, ash, and basalt collected in Iceland along with samples of wool from Icelandic sheep. The evening will include information, interesting stories, and a brief overview of Iceland and its natural history.
