This one-of-a-kind event is dedicated to teachers creating and publishing engaging and interactive multi-touch iBooks for education. Participants learn to use Apple's e-publising software iBooks Author. In addition, educators learn all about copyright, creative commons, and instructional design. Attendees work together with experts to design and develop interactive elements for their content specific iBook and walk away with a dynamic product that they can use the following school year. Anthony DiLaura and Steve Dickie are the co-founders of the iBookHack. Anthony is a high school math teacher and Apple Distinguished Educator class of 2013 and was named the "iBooks Author Trainer of the Year" in 2015. Steve is a high school physics teacher and a Google certified teacher. Together they are passionate about seeing educators transform their learning environments through authoring interactive multi-touch books.
