  • The Big Picture, A Vision for a modern business environment

This session will take you through the technology trends facing today’s CIOs, including private cloud deployments, real-time analytics, risk reduction, and mobile computing. When embraced at the right and in the right way, these technologies can significantly reduce your costs and deliver greater value to your business. The session will highlight the value of flexibility in the data management infrastructure, including a look at IBM’s PureFlex integrated infrastructure solution which combines compute, storage, networking, virtualization and management into a single system, with the elasticity that makes it ideal for private cloud deployments.   Gary[ssh2]  The session will also address how Big Data and analytics accelerators complement the vast information available from the cloud. The session will conclude with how to embrace these technologies for a mobile marketplace, while also reducing risk.

 

  • Deploying a Scalable, Flexible, and Interoperable Private Cloud – A Case Study

This session will cover a use case by an IBM business partner who has deployed a clustered grid of data servers in a private cloud, also leveraging other cloud capabilities on an IBM PureFlex system. The session will discuss the effective integration and tremendous benefits of the PureFlex service and support along with the ease, and flexibility they offer to deploy quickly for on-demand access.
