New Illinois state legislation ensures that students who achieve a 4 or higher in their IB subjects will receive credit at all public post-secondary institutions in Illinois. Illinois IB Schools would like to invite public and private college and university representatives from admissions, the registrar's office, freshmen advising, and academic disciplines to a workshop designed to assist with the development of the new IB credit policy this legislation requires. Marie Vivas, University Relations Manager for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Organization, will be on hand to walk participants through the program. Experienced IB educators will provide insights into specific IB subjects as they relate to college credit. This is a free event. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
