Event description
January is National Mentoring Month giving us the opportunity to celebrate our mentors and learn more about being or finding one.

About this Event

"In order to be a mentor, and an effective one, one must care. You must care. You don't have to know how many square miles are in Idaho, you don't need to know what is the chemical makeup of chemistry, or of blood or water. Know what you know and care about the person, care about what you know and care about the person you're sharing with." - Maya Angelou

In January, we are peeling the layers back and defining the core elements of mentorship. We are going to discuss those elements and gain a better understanding of how to enact them in our relationships. And, then we are going to walk through the steps you can take to find a mentor and provide some potential connections to help you get started.

  • 6:00 pm to 6:30 pm - Meet & Greet Networking Time
  • 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm - Mentoring Group Activity
  • 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm - Mentoring Discussion | Building Blocks & Finding a Mentor
  • 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm - Impactful Collaboration

Be prepared to meet women that will care about your success, that will want to engage you in building a relationship and not just a business card exchange. And, be sure to bring those business cards and be ready to discuss what tip, referral, lead or service would really help you grow
