Event description

Description

Are you interested in near-death-experiences? Have you or someone close to you had an NDE? Are you close to or caring for someone near to end of life? Are you simply curious about experiences some people have had when then have been considered clinically ‘dead’? If this non-profit organization, The International Association of Near Death Studies, sounds intriguing to you, you might be interested to learn that a new chapter of this organization known as IANDS has started a year ago here in Penticton to serve the Okanagan. IANDS is dedicated to the scientific research of Near Death Experiences and the local chapter is facilitated by Jose Hernandez and his wife, Anastasia. Jose had participated in an IANDS chapter in South Florida for 10 years after having an NDE experience himself in 2000.

The local IANDS Okanagan Chapter meets monthly on the second Saturday of each month at the Oasis United Church, 2964 Skaha Lake Rd in Penticton from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.(non-deominational) The meetings are free to attend and open to all. You can go to IANDS.org to learn more or contact Joe for information on the local meetings at iands.okanagan@gmail.com
