Join us as we discuss the experiences of refugees/immigrants in America and the role of faith communities in assisting these new residents.

About this event

The United States was established as a nation of immigrants. Over its history there have been both stories of hope and success as well as those of despair and discrimination. Join IACO for its annual fundraiser - the Main Event, where Joe Mas, Vice-Mayor of Worthington, leads a panel discussion focusing on the experiences refugees and immigrants transitioning into American society and the role that faith communities play in this process.

This event is a fundraiser supporting the Interfaith Association of Central Ohio. The Interfaith Association of Central Ohio (IACO) is made up of nine diverse faiths who have come together for one purpose: Creating a vibrant interfaith community based on understanding, friendship, and trust.

All monies raised supports this purpose. Additional support for the on-line and video portion of the program is generously provided by Puffin Foundation West and Religions for Peace USA.
