Event description

Description

In 2018, California enacted the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), a regulation designed to help protect personal data. Similar to GDPR, the CCPA applies to nearly any business that collects the data and personal information of California residents, regardless of where in the world they are located.

With roughly 12% of the U.S. population as its residents, and being the world’s fifth largest economy, California's privacy law will have significant implications for any company doing business in the U.S. or working with U.S.-based partners.

During this webinar, IAB will provide an overview of the CCPA and the broader U.S. privacy landscape, and discuss the implications for the Global Network of IABs and their member companies.
