Attendees will discuss and understand the connection between civility and rapport in building and strengthening relationships. We will explore how we can become more insightful and powerful communicators. Time will be given to learning to listen to others and give them your full attention. Finally, we will discover and discuss the main tenets of civility; which is gaining support in major businesses and government entities across the United States. Active participants will have a clearer understanding regarding these learning objectives:
- Defining Civility and discussing the main tenets of civility.
- Workplace trends that support and explain the need for civility and rapport building.
- Exploring the Impact of Civility in fostering an atmosphere of civil discourse and assisting in creating strong teams and strong organizations.
- The importance of delving into the skills of listening; especially attentive or active listening.
