Respect is an integral part of everyone’s job. Respectful workplaces offer safe, pleasant and stress free environments for its employees. Respect covers a spectrum of issues from harassment to bullying to workplace violence. This session focuses on how to create a respectful workplace. Learn the strategies to guard against disrespectful behavior, how to foster respectful behavior, and what to do in cases of disrespect.

Melissa North has been a Human Resources Advisor with The Cahill Group since 2010. As part of her role, she helped develop and now presents a Respectful Workplace Workshop for all employees of The Cahill Group throughout Canada.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, Human Resources, and a Masters Degree in Employment Relations. She continues her lifelong learning journey by completing various courses with the Gardiner Centre as well as completing a Workplace Investigation Training course a Mental Health First Aid course with the Canadian Mental Health Association.
