The Milwaukee and Waukesha Branches invite you to join us for an evening of networking, education and fun. We will have a buffet dinner, cash bar, raffles, giveaways and vendors. Two speakers will be presenting:

Maximize Your Personal Impact by Formally Defining Your Brand by Karen Grishaber. An interactive presentation on how to maximize your personal visibility along with the impact in the workplace by formally defining your own brand. Karen is a personal branding specialist and job search coach who marshals her marketing, training and facilitation skills to provide structured support for professionals in transition and those seeking greater visibility and advancement. She helps individuals identify and express their unique gifts to promote and differentiate their personal brand and stand out from the crowd. Karen worked for trade groups and professional societies before focusing on corporate branding at Fortune 500 companies Rockwell, GE and Abbott. She founded the Women's Exchange of Milwaukee, a professional networking group that helped women make the right job and business connections for 12 years and initiated creation of MAC Women (Milwaukee Athletic Club) to help female members network. As a Dress for Success volunteer, she also coached disadvantaged women in career development programs. Worth .75 recertification points!

Demystifying Cloud Computing and Technology Buzz Words by Brian Kerhin. This presentation that will cover what the cloud is and how it actually works. We will touch on task-based products like Spotify and YouTube, but the focus will be on the Office 365 productivity suite (Microsoft: OneDrive, SharePoint, Skype/Teams). You'll learn about the different purchasing options for 365, internal add on products like Vizio, Advanced Threat Protection and Azure Hosting Services, and external add on products such as Exclaimer, email encryption and even Quickbooks. Finally understand what people are talking about when they use buzz words like Exchange server, LDAP, active directory, Bitlocker, Kerberos encryption and more. Brian Kerhin has a vast expanse of computer knowledge. He received his Computer Engineering Degree from Iowa State University and founded Byte Harmony in 2001. He is an Autotask MVP and Rockstar, CompTIA subject matter expert, contributor to MSP Trustmark creation and holder of the Trustmark and an early adopter of and expert in cloud technologies. Worth .75 recertification points!
