It is with great pleasure that BGI and Idanha City Hall invite you for i-Danha Food Lab, an event that will bring together investors, corporate, start-ups and entrepreneurs interested/working in the Food Tech industry from all over the world. Check all the information here:

This event will be the first AgriTech Demonstrator located in Iberian Peninsula, based in one of the oldest Roman villages in Portugal: Monsanto.

Meet the start-ups that will be present:

Right after the worlds biggest tech conference, we will bring agrotech experts and take them on a unique adventure to Idanha.

Portugal is on the rise and so is Idanha, an unexpected place for a Tech event, which will host a pioneer program in Portugal. It will be an exquisite and absolutely differentiated event, and we want you to be part of it! If you are not convinced yet, check last year edition:


9th November - The Beginning of the Journey (Book accommodation in Idanha)

13h00 - Train leaves Santa Apolónia towards Idanha - Free ride on a historical train, alongside the beautiful Tagus River, deep forests and mountains heading to Idanha Municipality.

17h30 - Welcome Cocktail at Monsanto with a live show concert. Opening Session: The importance of Historical Villages in the World, Armindo Jacinto (Idanha-a-Nova's Mayor)
