The Partnership for the Eradication of Human Trafficking committee of the United Nations Association-USA, Southern NY Division invites you to a FREE screening of the award winning documentary I am Jane Doe on Tuesday Jan 30th 2018 at 6:00pm followed by a conversation with Carol Robles-Roman (Attorney featured in the Film), Kevin Tillman (Homeland Security Investigations), Thomas Estler (Author Abolitionista-Freedom Ladder), and Maria Almario (Psychologist, PEHT).
Directed by filmmaker Mary Mazzio, I am Jane Doe is a documentary chronicling the legal battle that several American mothers are waging on behalf of their middle-school daughters, who were trafficked for commercial sex on Backpage.com, the classified advertising website formerly owned by the Village Voice.
