Hypertension 101 is a 90-minute workshop that provides an overview of hypertension, how to prevent and control it, as well as how to accurately measure and self-monitor blood pressure.

- This is a leading cause of heart disease and stroke, which together kill more New Yorkers than any other disease.
- More than one in four New Yorkers have high blood pressure, but there are usually no symptoms.
