Join the Hypersomnia Foundation in Seattle on Saturday, June 29, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. for a "Hypersomnia Educational Meeting". Includes lunch.

Guest speakers include:

  • Dr. David Rye of Emory University

  • Dr. Flavia Consens of University of Washington/Harborview Medical Center

  • Sarah Beazley, Hypersomnia Foundation Board member, will hold an interactive workshop on Effective Self-Advocacy for people with IH and related sleep disorders.

  • Rebecca King, HF's new Legislative Advocate, will share what she's learning in Washington, D.C. and at the NIH in Besthesa about funding for rare sleep disorder research, and more.

  • Representatives from Balance Therapeutics will provide information about their ongoing Arise2 idiopathic hypersomnia clinical trial.
