This course is given free of charge! Registration sign in begins at 7:45 AM. Training begins promptly at 8 AM, and runs until 5 PM, with a one hour lunch break from 12 PM - 1 PM.

This class is for the technician just getting started in the vast field of using water to heat a structure. It is a comprehensive course for learning the fundamental operation and troubleshooting of boilers, piping and circulator pumps. The class will explore how the thermodynamics of water will affect the flow, how to zone a structure properly, and why pressure is so important to the system. The technicians will learn how to remove air from different systems, and why air removal is vital to the system. This class will teach the technician all of the basics of the most popular hydronic systems that are used in our industry, including low-pressure water systems as well as steam systems. When the technician completes this course, he or she should be able to start installing and troubleshooting most hydronic systems.

Techinicians earn 8 NATE CEHs toward re-certification in all specialties except Refrigeration Installation, and/or 3 BPI CEUs.

The CEUs being offered for these trainings are ONLY applicable towards NATE and Building Performance Institute (BPI). Please note the CEUs being offered for these trainings are not applicable towards Master HVACR license CEUs.
