Hybrid business models
Tue, March 21, 2017, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM CET
You are cordially invited to attend the launch of the new applied research publication ‘Hybrid Business Models’ - published by Antwerp Management School and sponsored by ING Belgium - and learn from corporate best practice to take sustainability to the next level.
What is it about?
Business is at a crossroads: it may either continue on the current business as usual (unsustainable) path, opt for either integrating sustainability into its current business models, or adopt entirely new, sustainability-driven business models.
In any event, it is clear that value-creation models should be leveraged towards creating financial, environmental, and social value in an upward spiral that benefits both business and society.
In other words, the challenge facing business is to create hybrid value.
This prompts a number of questions:
How do you create hybrid value within existing business models?
What are the barriers to creating hybrid value that companies face?
What are the implications for the leadership and financing of hybrid business models?
How do you develop new business models which will create hybrid value?
These questions require thorough analysis and practical answers in order for business to adopt the concept of hybrid value and execute its implementation successfully.
