MEPC and Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence would like to invite you to join us for the second Silverstone Park Metrology Networking Event which is taking place on Thursday 30th March from 1730 to 1930 at Silverstone Park Innovation Centre.
The Metrology Network has been set up to support high-tech networking between representatives from companies involved in advanced engineering, electronics and software design, and we are pleased to announce that there will also be a presentation from former Lockheed Martin UK Chief Executive Officer Stephen Ball. During his presentation, Stephen, who lives locally within the Silverstone Technology Cluster (STC), will cover topics including:
His career and rise from shop floor to CEO
His work within the defence sector and with the Ministry of Defence – providing thoughts on the opportunities for - STC companies with transferable skills and capabilities in advanced engineering, electronics and software design
The importance of precision manufacturing – past, present and future
The event is open to all businesses and is free to attend. Thereafter, for a small annual membership fee, businesses will be able to access the network’s regular events, technology information days and bi-monthly networking forums with high-profile guest speakers. Members will also receive discounted contract inspection services, deals on training courses and preferential access to the latest technology and expert support.
