HWLS
HWLS is the collaborative project of Australian producers Ta-Ku + Justin Elwin--sharing a love of bass-heavy club music, the already established solo producers signed with the Future Classic (FLUME, CHET FAKER) and quietly released the HWLS EP in 2015. A diverse, industrial-leaning club set, it appeared with plain gray-and-text artwork and tracks titled "001" through "004." so as not to distract listeners with anything beyond the music. As they continued to experiment with influences, the pair followed it with a number of remixes, including tunes by Hermitude, Tokimonsta, and Death Grips. With a more colorful cover and frenetic sound, EP02 was released this past spring featuring the hit "GAMMA" as Justin Elwin continues to lead the project full-time after touring with Flume, Sophie, Hudson Mohawke, and Lido.
LAKIM
Hailing from Lynchburg, Virginia, LAKIM has been steadily making a name for himself in the electronic scene. Bridging the gap between EDM and hip-hop with style and finesse, his sound is an ever-shifting blend of crisp drum patterns, dreamy synths, and lush vocal chops. An integral part of SoCal beat scene collective SOULECTION, he has released a number of EP's and collaborations with fellow Soulection artists like Mr. Carmack and Esta as well as his debut album "This is Her"--a collection of light and beautiful soundscapes inspired by women in his life. LAKIM brings a truly unique sound to the table and his energetic live performance is not one to be missed.

Andre Power is co-Founder and Art Director of Soulection and has a diverse approach to creative endeavors taking on every project with an open mind and heart. This method and logic translates seamlessly into his musical and visual arts by capturing the essence in each idea and helping to tell a larger story around it through various creative mediums.
Veteran painter, illustrator, and photographer, Andre Power transfers his graceful aesthetic into sounds through his own productions, outward approachable fashion sense, re-edits, mixtapes and live sets, and is quickly gaining the attention of conscious consumers in the music arts worldwide.
As a DJ, Andre's sets are uptempo, high energy, and soulful. Incorporating his east coast upbringing and music sensibility into his live performances opens up the space for everything from 90's throwbacks to jersey club to UK house inspired jams. Over the past three years, Mr. Power has shared the stage with folks like Kendrick, Jhene Aiko, Sango, Snoop Dogg and more with his love of music taking him to play UCLA Jazz Reggae Festival, The Roxy, XOYO London, Coachella, SXSW, and One Music Festival, as well as hold down a monthly residence at Soulection's Sound of Tomorrow events in downtown LA.
