For all humanitarians who have a 21st century vision for children and education in the United States of America and the Republic of Liberia are highly encouraged to register for HVI’s 1st Annual Convention. Created and hosted by Hope Valley International (http://www.hvcares.org), a U.S. non for profit organization for anyone willing to help educate and empower young people living in dire lives, especially in Liberia. On Saturday, October 14, 2017, HVI will host two (02) events on one (01) day, which will comprise of a Day Event (The Convention), and an Evening Event (The Benefit Concert). The Convention will start Saturday, October 14, 2017 from 11am to 4pm and The Benefit Concert will follow, starting from 6pm onward, both events hosted at the same venue located at St. Anthony of Padua Parish, 4414 Frankford Ave, Baltimore, MD 2120 (USA) with special performances by legendary Liberian artists.

Lifelong learning is more important than it’s ever been, and the future of Liberia could be brighter. Our inaugural symposium will provide an opportunity for leaders in education to connect, share insights and ultimately facilitate broad performance improvements through research-based instructional practices. We believe this is a great way to start investing in young people in Liberia while creating networking opportunities with U.S. institutions at the same time providing the proper tools to our teachers and students so that they can be successful.

With our conceptual focus firmly set on higher education, HVI’s offers lifelong learning possibilities for young people and adult continuous education. HVI 2017 Convention concrete deliverables will include critical knowledge and practical skills for leadership in the 21st century. Morning sessions will consist of content pods wherein our presenters will present essential material and concepts that will be put into practice during the afternoon at the applied learning workshop.

The Learning Convention will represent a new approach in HVI’s mission of building a strong professional network within the continuing education industry. As part of this overall shift, HVI intends to connect directly with leaders, executives, educators, institutions delivering actionable insights based on the consultancy’s many years of experience and hands-on expertise.

We believe that anyone serious about helping young people maximizing their potential using education should strongly consider registering for this Learning Convention, because the insights that can be gained from spending just a day brainstorming to help young people achieve their goals is invaluable.

Registered attendees of the Leading Convention will each lead sessions during the Convention; joining us as guest speakers and organization representatives will be Dr. Steve Kaifa, award-winning professor of Economics and Finance, Dr. George Kieh, Jr., professor at the University of West Georgia, Carrollton, GA, Mawine G. Diggs, M.Ed., president of the Eastern Campus and District Vice-Chancellor of Student Services at Wayne County Community College District, and Dr. Walter Faggett, II, M.D., Medical Director of DC Medical Assistance Administration and President of Change Agent Network Africa, Inc. (CANAFRICA). Other faculty will be added as the event approaches.

Since its founding nearly three (03) years ago, HVI has provided expert consulting and advisory services, build one school thus far, and now purchasing lands to build more schools in Liberia. Hope Valley International (HVI) mission is to renew hope and restore possibilities for young people living in direr lives through educational programs that enable them to gain access to adequate leadership and marketable skills.
