Description

Are you ready for the next edition of the Hutch Lecture Series?

A Seminar on Entrepreneurship and Great Ideas

Join us!

This June we will be celebrating “Entrepreneurship” - join serial entrepreneur and highly creative Mike Hutcheson, AUT Adjunct Professor and ex-Managing Director of Saatchi and Saatchi at this unique event.

Come along to meet awesome people and hear inspiring stories from Hutch as he takes us on a journey of what it truly takes to hold the keys to being a successful entrepreneur.

"Entrepreneurs are born, not made. Entrepreneurship can’t be taught any more than swimming can be taught by reading a book. It’s an active rather than passive thing. Entrepreneurship is about mindset and attitude, but it can be enhanced and made more certain through the application of the right tools, resources, people and timing.

With the Periodic Table of Innovation, we have provided New Zealand innovators and entrepreneurs with a methodology for de-risking new idea and business development. Most aspects of business are taught in silos with very little crossover between disciplines. The Table takes Entrepreneurs through the twelve steps necessary to bring an idea to fruition from concept to completion. The table offers a framework as a tool for business validation and new product development.”

In a world where people often do not know what to do with their great business idea, Mike offers a brilliantly simple roadmap for any aspiring entrepreneur, business leader or organisation to follow - with the Periodic Table of Innovation.

He created the Table after years of running businesses, big and small.

With his expertise, charisma and ability to tell memorable and impactful stories, we invite you to have some fun and hear how you can launch your idea or how your organisation can innovate and construct your ideas amid a climate of uncertainty and change.

He will be joined by Catherine Newton, Director of Success at AUT for the Paper Mike and Catherine co-teach, the Practical Innovation and Entrepreneurship Programme and founder of www.catherinenewton.com.

Mike Hutcheson and Catherine Newton have killer track records helping businesses achieve real results. Their inspiring stories and grounded direction have helped hundreds discover how to take their mindset, skillset and innovation strategies to a whole new level!
