In April we begin our third season of the Husum Riverside Bed and Breakfast Supper Club with Chef Kathy Watson. Kathy is a well-loved Gorge chef, former owner and chef of Nora's Table restaurant in Hood River. And now she's all ours: if you want her food, she's just here at Supper Club.

You can purchase tickets for any of the dinners, which all begin at 6 p.m., offered one weekend a month from April through September. Or you can purchase the entire season, and join our exclusvie VIP club. (VIPs get early seating, an amuse bouche, reserved parking, a tabelside photo at each dinner, and a cooking class with Chef Kathy in the fall.)

We will be joined by a Washington winery for each dinner. We keep our wine service totally flexible: you can order a wine pairing chosen by our chef, or wine by the glass or bottle, or no wine at all.

As is our custom, we do not release the menu in advance, giving Chef Kathy the freedom to seek out the freshest, most interesting fruits and vegetables from our Gorge farms, a shopping habit that also sparks her creative spirit and leads to inspired dishes you won't find anywhere else.

Make a weekend of it: Choose one of our six stylish European-style rooms, all with private bath, and a highly-rated European full breakfast. Supper Club attendees enjoy a 10% room discount! To reserve, call the B&B at 509-281-1181 just as soon as you buy your dinner tickets.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Supper Club is not suitable for small children, but we have entertained numerous teenagers who seem to enjoy having their innocent culinary minds blown. Alcohol is of course served only to those over 21 years of age. All guests appearing to be younger than 30 will be carded.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

You are welcome to drive or carpool. There is limited taxi service in the Gorge, and no Uber or Lyft as of yet. There is limited parking at the B&B, but plenty of space on Alt. HWY 141 at our driveway entrance. If that parking is full, he have permission to park at River Drifters, which is about a five minute walk from our dining area. If you are alternately abled, please feel free to come up the driveway and park in the B&B lot. Just note that the surface is gravel. We are happy to assist with wheelchairs or walkers. There is a handicap accessible bathroom.

When's dinner and when can I be seated?

All dinners begin at 6 p.m., and seating is available beginning at 5:30 p.m. We assign all seating in advance. Please be sure to indicate in your ticket purchase information if you wish to be seated with another party. Please arrive no later than 5:55 p.m.

What can I bring into the event?

Cash is good. :) You are paying for your dinner, state tax and ticket fees in advance. However, you will likely want to purchase wine, and our staff is so great, we hope you will want to tip. We do take credit cards, but cash is appreciated.

We are very excited to bring you local Washington wines with our dinners, served by the wine makers and winery staff who love to talk about their wines at tableside. However, if you want to bring your own bottle, we will add a $10 corkage fee for each bottle. Thanks for your understanding.

If you have questions concerning food allergies or dietary restrictions, please contact Chef Watson at 541-386-8870.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Yes, with some limitations. We can prepare dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian and pescaterian meals, but we do not offer a vegan alternative. We can also accommodate food allergies such as those to nuts and shellfish. Please be thorough when you fill out the questions about dietary restrictions. For example, if you cannot consume most cow's milk dairy, but can consume butter and/or goat's milk dairy products, please tell us specifically what you can and can't eat.

Also, please note, if you are willing to occassionally "break" your dietary rules, and for instance, enjoy a handmade pasta, it is best if you not ask for a gluten free dinner if you cheat now and then. You will have a much more enjoyable dinner if you can taste all the dishes in their best form.

That said, we will do our best to make your experience extraordinary, regardless of restrictions.

What's the refund policy?

You may request a refund for purchased tickets up to seven days prior to the dinner. After that, we will not issue refunds, but you may resell or give your ticket(s) away. Please note that we we live in country that can occassionally be cold or hot or windy or wet. It is best to come equipped with a sweater early in the season. We try our best to mitigate these weather conditions, but we do not give refunds for uncooperative weather events. In the event of severe storms, we may cancel a dinner and refund your money.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No you do not.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes, you can.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, it is.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
