The first weekend in December is always an eventful weekend here in Middleburg! There is a whole schedule of events, too many to list here, but starting Saturday morning there is Breakfast with Santa, the Hunt Parade, shops and cafes brimming with cheer! In the afternoon there is the Grand Middleburg Christmas Parade with everything from Corgis and Camels to Coaches and of course Santa! Then on Saturday evening, to top off the day, we will gather our community together in the Christmas Spirit in support of those in need.
This year we will be raising money to help with disaster relief for Louisiana and Haiti hurricane and flood victims. After reading and seeing so much footage of the damage, we were compelled to help, especially with the Holidays approaching. What these individuals have suffered and must now face is unfathomable. To help with the Disaster Relief Programs there will be a silent auction and raffle throughout the night. We will be accepting gift donations for the children in these areas.
The Hunt Country Christmas Ball will include: silent auction, raffle, door prizes, music by the fabulous HRH Band, hosted bar from 7-10, and scrumptious food stations including a decadent dessert table. Join us in festive blacktie attire, scarlet if convenient.
