Description

The Friends of the Parks (FOTP) Chicagoland Earth Day Parks & Preserves Clean-Up and Celebration began 30 years ago as a way to engage communities in their local parks and forest preserves. Today, FOTP partners with a multitude of other groups including the Chicago Park District, the Forest Preserve District of Cook County, and many community and volunteer organizations.

The 30th Annual Chicagoland Earth Day Parks & Preserves Clean-Up will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 9:00 am to 11:00 p.m. From 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. there will be a celebration at Humboldt Park (including lunch, games, and activities for all ages)! All Chicagoland Earth Day volunteers are welcome to attend.

Register for the 30th Annual Humboldt Park Earth Day and join the Humboldt Park Earth Day hosts: Friends of the Parks, the Humboldt Park Advisory Council, the Chicago Park District, and many more! Please register by April 12th so we can count you in for supplies. Registration will continue the day-of and you are welcome to attend without pre-registration.
