About this Event

On Friday, March 27th at 7:00pm the Schaeffer Society will be hosting the second lecture in the Humanity in Crisis Series. This lecture will take place in the L. Russ Bush Center for Faith and Culture Seminar Room, Patterson Hall 223. Dr. Christopher Hook and Dr. Ben Mitchell will both give a 30 minute lecture. The evening will conclude with a Q&A Panel moderated by Dr. Bruce Little, Director of the Francis A. Schaeffer Society.

Dr. Hook will specifically lecture on What Are the Implications of Transhumanism? Dr. Hook is a Consultant in the Division of Hematology, and Associate Professor of Medicine, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, USA.

Dr. Mitchell will lecture on Homo Sapiens to Homo Deus. Dr. Mitchell is the Graves Chair of moral philosophy at Union University.
