HUMANITARIAN IN FILM CEREMONY - FILM BLOCK #6

Sunday, October 6, 2019

1:30pm-2:30pm: Kat Graham's Humanitarian in Film Presentation

Program begins PROMPTLY at 2pm.

There will be a brief 10 minute intermission.
Followed by Film Block #6 Films

2:45pm - 4:30pm Film Screenings + Filmmakers Q&A

VIP Weekend passes and the Honoree Pass for the Saturday ceremony will also be honored during this block.

This event will begin with the ceremony for Ms. Kat Graham as her schedule would not allow her to join us during Saturday's ceremony. All those who have purchased the Honoree ticket (whether for Saturday or Sunday) will be seated first.

$15 tickets are intended for the films following the ceremony, post-intermission.

You may purchase a $15 ticket for this block but this ticket will only guarantee you attendance to the films screening AFTER the ceremony and intermission.

We thank you for your understanding.

2019 WIFF Humanitarian in Film (OCTOBER 6 - FILM BLOCK 6)

Sunday, October 6, 2019

1:30pm - 4:30pm

The "Westfield International Film Festival Humanitarian in Film Award" is presented to individuals within the film industry who have chosen to use their voice and influence to raise awareness and support at risk or marginalized groups.

KAT GRAHAM

Kat Graham, best known for her role as Bonnie Bennett on "The Vampire Diaries" is an actress, singer, dancer and producer. Working across a variety of genres in film, television and music, she is one of the most accomplished and versatile young talents working today.

Graham's international background and celebrity status has afforded her a unique access to, and perspective on, the rest of the world. Witnessing firsthand through her travels some of the global inequalities that can cause human suffering, Graham has made it a priority to leverage her status to fight for those less fortunate.

For this reason, she is our 2019 WIFF HUMANITARIAN IN FILM.

**Celebrity appearances are tentative and subject to change as film and television work demands take precedence, as can a personal conflict.**

Reach (Director: Maria Cappricielli / CA, USA)
Everybody Said (Directors: Brian Ostering & Amanda Duncan / NJ, USA)
