For mental health professionals across our region, New Oakland Family Centers is excited to announce a half-day educational seminar to explore the latest perspectives on the critically important issue of human trafficking and its impacts.

We’re honored to have as our featured speaker Melissa Novock of the Wayne County Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner’s program (WC SAFE), a nationally recognized authority on the social and policy environment related to human traffficking; and New Oakland’s Dr. Robert Lagrou, one of Michigan’s leading voices on the clinical and medical issues related to the trauma experiences human trafficking survivors experience.
