Human Trafficking Conference 2020
Event Information
About this Event
Join us for this amazing educational opportunity to learn about human trafficking. We will have dedicated speakers come who have been involved in anti trafficking for years and survivors who will bravely share their stories. Our doors will open at noon, so come early and enjoy refreshments and meet our vendors. The conference will begin at 1:00pm and we will close at 5:00pm with a prayer vigil. This is a time to learn, grow and come together to pray for victims and survivors. As a community we can stand strong and fight against this horrific crime against humanity.
Speakers are Jessica May with Renewed Strength Ministries, Patricia McKnight with Butterfly Dreams Alliance, Doreen Page with Finding Grace Ministries, Jessica Wilkins with The Covering House, Annie Showmaker and a survivor with Eden's Glory, and a Truckers Against Trafficking Ambassador. We will have a male survivor singing group that will grace us with their beautiful voices and a prayer vigil to end the event.
Note: This conference is good for ages 13 and up. There will be hearing interpreters for the deaf community. The church is handicap accessible and we will have a nurses station in case of emergencies.
