Event description

There are over 20 million victims of human trafficking with the average age of a victim being 13 years old. Central Florida is a major hotspot for human trafficking based on its location and diversity. For many people, the word human trafficking symbolizes a far off country that is struggling with social justice—but it's right here. Our communities are filled with the dangers and victims of trafficking.

This weekend we are going to shed light on this evil.

January is human trafficking awareness month. In the Lakeland community, we are going to host an awareness week on January 27-29th, 2017. We have three days packed full of events to engage the community, raise awareness, and bring awareness and hope for the enslavement of people.

We want you, the community, to partner with us in our efforts to bring about change in admist this global crisis of human dignity. By joining with us you are helping to spread awareness about human trafficking and standing in solidarity with those whom it affects.

Please consider joining us for this weekend, sharing this event, and spreading it around the Central Florida area.

Friday, January 27: Special night of prayer for those trapped in the bondage of trafficking. (Free!)

Saturday, January 28: Conference including documentary, dinner, and speakers.** (Ticket Required)
